Ivan Goff

Born in Dublin in 1971, Ivan began playing the tin whistle at the age of eight, progressing to the Uilleann pipes at the age of eleven under the
tuition of Dan O'Dowd (1903-1989) and later with Mick O'Brien. having won a number of competition titles at all age levels, including the All-Ireland
Fleadh and Oireachtas, Ivan's eclectic music background includes master's degrees in both musicology and computer composition. Ivan has also performed in several well-known productions including Lord of the Dance and has recorded in film scores and has exhibited in the Guggenheim museum.

In addition to performing as a solo artist, Ivan has collaborated as a performer and composer in the theatrical productions, Peacefire and the Voice of the Sea (Mac Uibh Aille) and has performed with numerous bands and artists including NYC-based Whirligig, Irish traditional band Lunasa and Eileen Ivers & Immigrant soul.
